Membership Recruiters working in their preferred locality of Avon, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Gwent, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Herefordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire or Worcestershire earn a basic hourly salary plus uncapped commission and bonus as well as employment benefits such as travel expenses and company pension scheme.

Administrative roles within our venues, HR and finance team at our central Exeter head office benefit from a discretionary annual pay rise and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus. 

Full training and ongoing support is provided for all of our roles, including team days hosted at Wildlife Trust nature reserves where we share ideas and learn about the wild places we are helping to protect.

Venues & Events Co-ordinator    

  • Multiple positions currently available due to company growth 
  • Permanent contracts: full-time or part-time 20-25 hrs p/w (flexible hours considered) with potential to be increased 
  • Salary: £19,614 per annum FTE (pro rata for part-time) plus an annual bonus of £2,000 (pro rata, paid quarterly).
    After one year of service, the base salary increases to £20,410 per annum FTE, after two years to £21,206 per annum FTE, and after three years to £21,736 per annum FTE
  • Office-based in Exeter city centre

Do you have experience as an administrative coordinator, with excellent communication skills and a great telephone manner? Would you like to work as part of a friendly team that helps local Wildlife Trusts recruit new members?

We are a growing company looking for a highly organised, self-motivated and resourceful ‘people person’. We are looking for you to create opportunities and leads to convert into bookings at good quality venues and events. This enables our Membership Recruiters to attend and promote the work of local Wildlife Trusts to secure regular membership donations.

If you have coordinator (or similar) experience in a sales, customer service / customer-facing environment, marketing or fundraising, considerable experience of telephone work and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes and databases/CRMs, this rewarding role could be for you.

Membership Recruiter (all areas) 

We are seeking Membership Recruiters in all of our localities, to support our expansion and drive to increase Wildlife Trust membership.

  • Part-time or full-time
  • Guaranteed £13 p/h during probationary period, average earnings of between £12.50 – £20+ p/h
  • Uncapped commission

You will:

  • speak to and inspire members of the public to join their local Wildlife Trust, facilitating them to sign-up for membership and a regular donation 
  • do this at a variety of pre-booked venues and events, with a Wildlife Trust-branded display stand
  • be positive, self-motivated and resilient – and want to make a real difference to local wildlife
  • have experience in direct sales, fundraising or promotions (although not essential)
  • have access to a car and a full driving license
